This Privacy Policy explains what information AppDash (“we”, “us”) collects through this website and our products, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and honest, and we design our products so there is as little of your data to handle as possible.
The short version
- VibeTest stores data only in Atlassian — there is no external AppDash backend. Your tests execute on your own Mac, with your own AI agent and logins.
- Your code, credentials, and browser sessions never leave your machine. Only the test definition, the pass/fail result, and screenshots travel to and from Jira.
- We do not sell your personal information, ever.
Information we collect
This website
- Support requests. If you submit a support ticket, we collect the name, email, and message you provide so we can respond.
- Email sign-ups. If you opt in, we store your email address and the product you were interested in.
- Basic server and usage data. Standard request logs and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics about which pages are viewed and which calls-to-action are clicked.
The VibeTest product
The VibeTest app stores your test definitions and run history on the Jira issue, inside your Atlassian site. The desktop companion app runs locally on your machine. Secret values you reference in tests are stored write-only in your operating-system keychain and are never uploaded to us or to Atlassian.
How we use information
- To respond to support requests and operate the website.
- To send you the updates you explicitly asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
Sharing and third parties
We share data only with the service providers needed to run AppDash — for example, our hosting provider and Atlassian (which operates the platform your app data lives in). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses only the cookies needed for authenticated areas (such as the support portal) and, where enabled, lightweight analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Data retention
We keep support tickets and sign-up records for as long as needed to provide support and the updates you requested, then delete or anonymize them. Test definitions and run history live in your Atlassian site and are governed by your own Atlassian data controls.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us. Contact us and we will action your request. Because VibeTest has no external backend, most of your product data is already under your direct control in Atlassian and on your own machine.
Security
We design for security by architecture: no external backend to breach, least-privilege Atlassian scopes, signed device pairing, and short-lived per-job tokens. See the security model for details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice through the site.
