Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the AppDash website, the VibeTest app for Jira, and the AppDash desktop companion (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service for an organization, you agree on its behalf.

The Service

VibeTest lets you author tests on a Jira issue and run them on your own machine via an AI coding agent you provide. The Jira app is an Atlassian Forge app; the desktop app runs locally. We may update, improve, or change features over time.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Access to Atlassian and the Marketplace is also governed by Atlassian’s own terms.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Only run tests against systems you are authorized to test. You are responsible for what your tests do on your machine and network.

Your AI agent and your environment

VibeTest executes through an AI coding agent that you choose and configure — Claude Code by default, or any CLI agent. You control the model, its costs, and the environment it runs in. You are responsible for the actions your agent takes and for any third-party agent terms and fees. We are not a party to your relationship with your agent provider.

Fees

VibeTest is free to install today, and there are no per-run cloud fees from us. We may introduce paid plans for team-and-scale features in the future; if we do, the core single-user loop stays free and we will give notice before any change affects you.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and branding, is owned by AppDash and its licensors. You retain all rights to your own tests, data, and content. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Testing tools assist human judgment; a passing test is not a guarantee that your software is free of defects.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppDash will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to comply with the law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice through the site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at AppDash’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
